HOW TO GET HERE
The Marcha starts in Valencia Marina in the Port of Valencia, next to Veles e Vents, and runs through striking scenery in eastern Spain.
The most demanding route, over 190km, will take participants up l’Oronet, Alto de Segart and Chrivilla and then back down the other side of the first before returning to the city. The 105km route includes the first two passes. The 76km route will also climb up to the first.
It is the only Gran Fondo in Europe that starts and finishes in a big city.
BIB AND MAILLOT COLLECTION
Bibs, jerseys and runners’ bags will be collected from the area set up for this purpose in Valencia Marina, from 4 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on 29 May 2020.
When you arrive in Valencia Marina, you will find everything duly signposted.
To collect your bib, you will need to present your:
– National ID.
– Registration confirmation.
– RFEC licence (where applicable).
If you cannot collect your bib the day before the event, a colleague may do so for you by presenting the above along with a signed authorisation.
The fair takes place very close to the Veles e Vents building, in a modern and highly prestigious space in the city of Valencia.
The cycling expo-fair is one of the largest in Spain.
The Marcha creates spaces for the stands belonging to the International Gran Fondo partner and sponsor brands.
These benchmark brands in the cycling sector will exhibit and sell related services and products to attendees.
The Marcha Ciudad de Valencia International Gran Fondo has refreshment areas.

In the refreshment areas, participants can get their energy back with solids or liquids. Fruit, buns, sandwiches, dried fruit, nuts, drinks, gels and energy bars.

SUPPER, BREAKFAST AND LUNCH
Registration for the Marcha Ciudad de Valencia International Gran Fondo includes supper, breakfast and lunch.
Food will be served by the sea in the area set up in Valencia Marina next to the exhibition and trade fair.
– Supper: ‘fideuá’ and a drink.
– Breakfast: coffee, fruit, buns, dried fruit and nuts.
– Refreshments: solids and liquids. Fruit, buns, sandwiches, dried fruit, nuts, drinks, gels and energy bars.
– Lunch: ‘paella’ and a drink.
*if you are an accompanying person, you can purchase a ticket for the supper or the lunch plus a soft drink for €5.
MASSAGES AND SHOWERS
The Marcha Ciudad de Valencia International Gran Fondo will have an area set up for post-cyclosportive massages for participants.
Here, bike tourists can enjoy a well-deserved rest and recover from this big event.
The International Gran Fondo will also have shower facilities for men and for women.
There will be a mechanic’s workshop at the refreshment points in Valencia Marina and it will have two neutral cars.
Remember that it is very important to set the right gear ratio before taking on this big challenge and Segart.
For the most usual: chainring 30 at most and small sprocket 36 recommended.
For the less usual: chainring 34 and small sprocket 34 recommended.
The Marcha Ciudad de Valencia International Gran Fondo provides the highest possible security for participants.
We have the collaboration of:
– Guardia Civil Traffic Corps.
– Broom bikes.
– Spanish Civil Defence.
– Local Police in the different towns and villages.
– Health Service.
You will find parking areas around the event area.
You can also find different private car parks around Valencia Marina.
The International Gran Fondo will provide a bike parking service at an area in Valencia Marina, so that you can relax and enjoy the event.
The Marcha Ciudad de Valencia is the cycling event for families. We want everybody to enjoy a healthy, sporting, family atmosphere.
With that in mind, the little ones will also be able to enjoy a kids’ zone throughout the event, with bouncy castles, concerts and a range of fun activities.
